Will I need a mid-season service?

The general boating enthusiast will use his boat about 100 hours a season. An oil and filter change should be preformed at about 50 hours of operation. Fuel filters will be inspected for contamination and serviced as needed. Gear oil and other fluids are checked and toped up as necessary.

This is a great time to insure that everything is operating as it should and will continue to for the rest of the season. It is also a great time to have that bilge pump, bilge blower, horn, or any other accessory repaired as this also can save you a ticket when you are inspected by the marine patrol on the water.
